Patrick Wilson welcomed a new puppy into his home just in time for Christmas.
On Thursday, the 47-year-old magic actor and his wife Dagmara Dominczyk, 44, shared a selfie with their adorable pooch on social media.
Sharing that his sons named the dog Eddie Van Halen, Wilson wrote: ‘Merry Christmas from all of us, Wilsons … including this new guy, Mr Eddie Van Wilson. Named by my children … but I didn’t object. ‘

In the selfie, the actor and his wife pose in front of the Christmas tree with their furry golden puppy – which now makes three dogs in the family.
His wife posted the same selfie as the couple with the dog while she commented on the new addition.
‘Good. We did it. We got a puppy from quarantine. Officially outnumbered by canines now, just in time for Christmas. By the way. May you have a happy child. Love yourself and love yourself – even if you’re past Zoom, ’she wrote.
Longtime fan of Van Halen, Wilson clearly instilled his love for the god of rock in his children and was devastated by his death when accessing Instagram to share an autographed photo by the legend.
