Oscar Isaac plays on the New Year with his longtime friend and Star Wars heartthrob Pedro Pascal: ‘2020 – we’re done with you’
Oscar Isaac called in the new year with his old friend and former colleague Pedro Pascal.
The fiery Star Wars heartthrobs could be seen saying goodbye to 2020 in an Instagram post shared by Oscar’s wife, Elvira Lind.
Pedro, 45, modeled a party hat and drank a beer while wrapping his arm around Oscar, 41, who looked at him somewhat puzzled.

‘BEEEEYYYYY 2020 – we’re done with you’, captioned Elvira, who married Oscar in 2017 and shares two small children with him.
Pedro is also part of Oscar children’s lives – in a post on social media in 2019, Elvira referred to him as the baby ‘Tio Pedro’, in Spanish for uncle.
The two are involved in the Star Wars franchise – Oscar played pilot Poe Dameron in the new film trilogy and Pedro star in The Mandalorian.

They also starred in the 2019 Netflix film Triple Frontier, with a bold cast of stars including Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam and Garrett Hedlund.
Oscar and Pedro have worked together for years, including in 2005 at an off-Broadway show called Beauty Of The Father before they were stars.
Both were born abroad, Oscar in Guatemala and Pedro in Chile, but were raised in the United States.

Elvira is also from outside the country, coming from Copenhagen, and currently lives in Brooklyn with Oscar and her children.
Despite the coronavirus blockages, Pedro had a busy year of professional releases, including the acclaimed new season of The Mandalorian.
At the other end of the scale, his latest Wonder Woman movie, 1984, was released on HBO Max a week ago and polarized critics by 61% on Rotten Tomatoes.
