OSBI joins Sand Springs police in a quadruple homicide investigation

Sand Springs police and the Oklahoma State Department of Investigation are investigating a quadruple homicide.

News on 6 found that investigators were able to obtain a search warrant so that they could enter the house and begin this part of the investigation.

Neighbors and family members were interviewed. Investigators said the mother of one of the adult victims inside the house went out to check on her grandchildren on Saturday and entered the crime scene.

“It is a great tragedy for our community,” said Sand Springs Police Department captain Todd Enzbrenner. “It is difficult for the family. It is difficult for my officers. It is difficult for the medical team. It is difficult for you. ”

Police said the victims are two adults and their two young children. They still don’t have a schedule of what led to the shooting.

This is a developing story.
