OnePlus revealed yesterday that it has something to announce on March 8. Word has it that we will have an official release date for the OnePlus 9 series that day. Now, informant Evan Blass went ahead and leaked some pre-order details for the alleged OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
According to Blass, the two phones will be pre-sold on March 23. This means that we can see them released on the same date or at a later time.
Blass also revealed that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro would be accompanied by pre-ordered gifts for the first buyers. He claims that those who buy OnePlus 9 will receive a free OnePlus Buds Z set. Meanwhile, buyers of OnePlus 9 Pro will receive the Steve Harrington edition of true wireless headphones.
Blass goes on to say that if the company is planning to launch the alleged OnePlus 9R or OnePlus Watch together with the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, the devices will not be accompanied by any pre-order gifts.
Unfortunately, the informant did not reveal more than that. We still don’t have a price leak for the phones, although we expect them to cost roughly the same as last year’s OnePlus 8 flagships.
