OMB Peezy arrested for filming on the set of Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg Music Video

OMB Peezy was arrested on Monday, March 1, in connection with a shootout in Atlanta that occurred during the filming of a music video by Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He was charged with aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and possession of a firearm while committing a crime, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed. Bond was set at $ 60,000. When contacted by Pitchfork, the OMB representative Peezy did not comment.

The shooting took place on Sunday, February 21 at 598 Wells Street. Police said three wounded men at the scene were in stable condition. Only one person was arrested on the spot and charged with drug possession, which was unrelated to the shooting.

Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not injured in the incident. “No one shoots me,” tweeted Roddy Ricch on Monday, February 22. “We are all fine. im juss tryna feed the streets. 42 Dugg talked about the incident in an Instagram Live conversation with Lil Baby: “Real conversation, we’re all fine, man,” he said.

OMB Peezy is scheduled to release a new album called Too deep for tears this Friday, March 3rd.
