Olivia Wilde and Shia LaBeouf fought over the music video after filming

Olivia Wilde and Shia LaBeouf allegedly clashed during the production of a music video after he was fired from his next film Do not worry, dear.

LaBeouf was replaced by Harry Styles in Do not worry, but he also clashed with Wilde separately while working on Rainey Qualley’s music video, ‘Love Me Like You Hate Me’.

The video, released on October 23, features the sister of musician Margaret Qualley alongside LaBeouf. Collaborators included producer Luke Turner and Dear boy filmmaker Natasha Braier.

A “special thanks to Olivia Wilde” is listed in the credits, like the Hollywood Reporter reports that Wilde originally directed the video as a favor to Margaret Qualley, which she directed in the short Wake up.

The report explains that after the video production ended, Wilde worked on his own cut of the video for an allotted period. However, LaBeouf also presented his own version, in which he worked with Turner, before that period ended.

LaBeouf reportedly sent his cut on a group email topic, to which Wilde said he would see his version and send his cut soon after.

The report then explains that LaBeouf was not satisfied with Wilde’s response, saying that “the correct answer would have been to write ‘thank you’ and that ‘we should continue with this’” in reference to his own cut.

A source who saw the e-mail network said LaBeouf wrote: “Great jazz musicians know when not to play.”

Wilde then reportedly left the project, saying “I’m out” after LaBeouf’s response.

Last month, it came to light that Harry Styles would replace LaBeouf in Do not worry due to Dear boy the actor’s alleged pre-production behavior, violating Wilde’s “idiot ban policy” on set – rather than scheduling conflicts as previously announced.

Do not worry, dear will star Styles alongside Florence Pugh and Chris Pine. The film is currently in production.
