Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘driver’s license’ reaches first place in streaming

Olivia Rodrigo’s debut single, “Driver’s License”, was released just three days ago – and is already at the top of the streaming charts.

This weekend, the emotional ballad hit number one on the American Spotify chart, the Apple Music chart and the Amazon Music chart chart. He also topped the iTunes chart, and his accompanying music video has garnered over 11 million views. On Monday, “Driver’s License” reached first place on the global top 50 chart on Spotify.

It is not for nothing that the song played a chord with the fans – “Driver’s License” shows Rodrigo, 17, talking about a devastating disgust, getting out of control of the fact that she finally got her driver’s license and now she can drive to your ex home. The lyrics of the song are identifiable and vulnerable, combined with Rodrigo’s mature and masterful belt and the production of Conan Gray and Lewis Capaldi’s collaborator Dan Nigro, makes it a must for any pop enthusiast.
