Ohio State to wear Diamond Quest uniforms against Clemson for second consecutive sugar bowl

For the second consecutive Sugar Bowl, Ohio will wear its alternative Diamond Quest uniforms. Once against the underdog, this time for Clemson instead of Alabama, the Buckeyes will rock the kickback shirts they revealed by taking down the Crimson Tide on January 1, 2015 in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

The team revealed its choice on Monday night, after speculation about which uniforms would be selected.

These uniforms are designed to honor the 1968 national championship team. They have gray stripes on the sleeves, which differs from their usual look.

The state of Ohio has not worn this alternative uniform since the defeat of the Clemson Fiesta Bowl in 2016. He has worn them four times in the 2015 season, including the Virginia Tech game, where Braxton Miller made his famous rotation move.
