Nvidia launched its RTX 30 series in September at an impressively low price, but the line was far from complete with just the RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 under its belt. Rumors and whispers did not inspire confidence either, first triggering a 20 GB upgrade to the RTX 3080 before withdrawing it immediately. But now, it looks like the video card It’sactually on the way, with Asus leaking the coveted RTX 3080 Ti with no less than 20 GB of memory.
Prepared to arrive as part of the Asus ROG Strix mainline, two models of the RTX 3080 Ti were seen on the company’s graphics card support page by the well-known HXL leak, also known as 9550pro on Twitter. These were not the only nuggets to be found, as the database also listed two entries for the next RTX 3060, which appears to pack 12 GB of GDDR6 memory – something previously discovered by Igor’s Laboratory.
By adding firewood to the fire, these entries were removed, although they did not lead anywhere when they were active.
The ‘O20G’ and ‘O12G’ models are presumably the factory overclocked ‘OC Editions’ that we are used to seeing from Asus, while the other two are probably standard versions without the company pushing the watches to their limit.

If these leaks are true, the RTX 3060 will be in a strange place compared to the 8GB RTX 3060 Ti, the 8GB RTX 3070 and the 10GB RTX 3080 already on the market. According to previous reports, there is supposed to be a 6GB RTX 3060 in operation that would follow the usual logic and fit the list perfectly, but there is no sign of it here.
The almost confirmed RTX 3080 Ti, on the other hand, is better considered a stripped-down RTX 3090 – a card that leans more towards professionals than players with 24 GB of memory and a high price of $ 1,499 / £ 1,399. But without an official word from Nvidia or its board partners, it is best to take this information with a pinch of salt for now.
