Current Oscar favorite Nomadland took home the Producers Guild Award for Best Picture at the ceremony tonight, almost guaranteeing the victory of this film in the same category at the next Oscar (the winner of the Best Film PGAs accurately predicted the winner of the Best Picture Oscar 21 times in the last 31 years old) . Other winners of this year’s PGAs included Soul and My octopus teacher. Schitt’s Creek continued its domination in the award season with a win for Best episodic television (comedy) and The Queen’s Gambit won a trophy in the same Drama category. Last week tonight with John Oliver also scored a victory, along with The last dance and the live stage recording of Hamilton. Check out the full list of winners below.
