Nick Sirianni discusses Twitter’s reaction at his introductory press conference

A new job can be stressful and seems to be the case with Eagles’ new coach, Nick Sirianni. If you were following on Twitter during your introductory press conference on Friday, you would have seen some fiery scenes about Sirianni, who seemed to be a little anxious addressing the Eagles’ media for the first time.

To make things even stranger, he was doing this virtually, talking to a group of people online while in an empty room.

John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia spoke to Sirianni and asked him about the fans’ nervousness and reaction.

“I have to look at the tape,” says Sirianni partly in a playful tone. “And of course … just like when you’re going to have a game, right, there will be calls that you want back and there will be calls that you said, ‘Man, it was a good call.’

“What do we do? We go back, look at the tape and the most important thing is that you try to get better every day and again and the next time you go out.”

Despite how he may have done during his first public performance as the Eagles’ head coach, it’s nice to see that Sirianni is self-conscious enough about the situation and has enough humility to throw a lost joke on her.
