Making them jealous! Nick Jonas ends the Jonas Brothers reunion by relaunching his solo career

It looks like Nick Jonas left the Jonas Brothers meeting.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old singer posted an image on his Instagram account to promote his next solo single, titled Spaceman.

The next day, it was reported by The Sun that the singer’s former band decided to archive an album that had been recorded last year, effectively putting a second end to the trio.

A source spoke to the publication and noted that the band’s separation was partly spurred by the circumstances of the global pandemic and its impact on the music industry.

The source said the band’s meeting is effectively over for now. They had an album ready to come out and were about to announce it last March, but then the pandemic happened and everything was postponed. ‘

It was also commented that the three started working on their own projects separately during their respective quarantine periods and that they chose to put the band aside in favor of promoting their respective creative visions.

The source made a point of noting that, although the trio’s separation was friendly, they were happy to be focusing on themselves right now.

“There were no major disagreements this time around, but realistically it will be a while before they make music as a trio again,” said the source.

The band initially retired in 2019 after separating six years earlier due to deep disagreements between its members.

The trio released the track Sucker in March of that year to mark their return; the single debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The following month, they announced that their fifth studio album, entitled Happiness Begins, would be available in June.

The release would debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and remained there until the release of Taylor Swift’s album Lover.

Last year, the band announced that it would headline a Las Vegas residency show that was scheduled to begin in April; the programs were subsequently canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trio also appeared at the 62nd Grammy Awards and sang a previously unreleased song entitled Five More Minutes.

In October, the group released their last single before their recent separation, entitled I Need You Christmas.

The trio also announced the imminent release of a memoir entitled Blood in 2019; since then it has been delayed several times.
