NFL fined Bills QB Josh Allen $ 15,000 for football film against Chiefs

A wild streak of events following the resignation of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game last Sunday resulted in fines for Josh Allen and two of his attackers.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback was fined $ 15,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct, according to the NFL Network. Allen’s attack: a casual blow to the Chiefs pass-rusher Alex Okafor’s face after a serve.

The move in question occurred at the end of the fourth period of Sunday’s game. In the third and 10th in the red zone, the Chiefs’ defensive striker, Tanoh Kpassagnon, burst into his pocket and started chasing Allen 15 yards back before the move was considered dead. At that time, Okafor also caught up with Allen and took down the quarterback when the whistle blew.

A frustrated Allen responded by throwing the ball in Okafor’s mask. Okafor responded by standing up and becoming furious about Allen, at which point Bill’s attackers, Jon Feliciano and Dion Dawkins, pushed and knocked Okafor back to the ground:

Dawkins and Feliciano were both fined $ 10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct for attacking Okafor.

It seems that Okafor was not punished for the late coup. The Chiefs’ pass-rusher, Chris Jones, was also not fined for a punch missed by officials, but noted in the replay.
