Shocking new images of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol show Trump supporters huddling in the Senate chamber, where they rummaged through documents and demanded to know where lawmakers had fled.
The video, first obtained by The New Yorker, was filmed by veteran war correspondent Luke Mogelson, a magazine writer, who followed the crowd as they forced their way to the Capitol.

“Where the hell are they?” a rioter can be heard screaming.
Others are seen circulating in the Senate chamber while others search documents.
“There must be something here that we can use against these scoundrels,” says a man as he flips through a notebook while taking pictures with his phone.

Meanwhile, the so-called “QAnon Shaman” – whose real name is Jacob Chansley – can be heard screaming loudly on the rafters above, while hitting the ground with a spear. Later, he goes down to the floor, saying to the other intruders, “How nice to see you. You are fucking patriots.”
Another clip shows a group of protesters walking down a corridor, knocking on lawmakers’ office doors and shouting words like “betrayal” and “1776”. Other protesters demand to know the whereabouts of mayor Nancy Pelosi.
