Sony, or more specifically, Sony Rewards, has announced that it will have a limited number of PS5 consoles available starting tomorrow. This will not only be Sony’s first PS5 refueling in 2021, but one of the first 2021 PS5 refuelings across the board. So far, Best Buy, GameStop and a few others have released new stock for the PS5, but for the most part, the PS5 has been impossible to find at the beginning of the new year. Unfortunately, that is all that Sony Rewards reveals.
The news comes through the official Sony Rewards Twitter account, which does not reveal any additional details. All it does is note that it will let customers know when refueling is active and, to that end, it encourages followers to activate post notifications.
At the moment, there is no information on the size of the supply, when exactly it will go into operation or whether customers will be alerted in advance. Sure, that may change as the fall approaches, but now, what is below is all that has been shared so far.

In addition to Sony, it also appears that Target may – with an emphasis on may – have its own PS5 replenished soon, or so some PlayStation fans think. That said, for now, the only confirmed opportunity to get a PS5 this week is the opportunity above. And, of course, if Sony provides more details about this new stock, we will definitely update the story with those details.
