There are also supposed to be three update packages – a “Type S”, “Type T” and “Type ST”. The “S” is said to offer Brembo brakes, thicker stabilizer bars, better cooling and other advantages. Meanwhile, the “T” touts a group of options more oriented towards comfort, such as heated and cooled leather seats with power adjustment, a set of driver aids and other subtleties, including blind spot monitoring. The “ST” car is supposed to receive these two sets of options, each of which costs $ 5,000 individually or $ 10,000 when purchased together in the ST car.
And yes, cheer up, because a version of Nismo is supposed to be on the way and, according to the source, “it won’t just be a body kit”. They claim that the VR30 engine will be tuned for more power, the suspension will be even tighter and a new exhaust system is also likely.
There are still no details on the prices of that car, but Nissan is supposed to be eyeing the Supra. Soon, we’ll find out if Toyota got in the way of offering its revived sports car without a stick and at a relatively high cost to consumers. The new Z is looking cheaper, more powerful and more fun to drive, so that may just be a warning sign.
