New Nintendo Switch games reportedly leaked by GameStop

A couple of Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite games were leaked, courtesy of GameStop. Amid rumors that Nintendo will end February with an explosion and that this year’s main line Pokémon games will be revealed this week, a major leaker reported that GameStop updated its internal database with two new $ 59.99 contiguous Switch SKUs, or in other words, two Nintendo Switch games. What these games could be, nobody knows, but the most obvious answer is that these are two new games Pokémon games, which are said to be remakes of Diamond and Pearl.

Reinforcing the claim, the heap, Pokémon Center, provides an image of the SKUs, although at the moment there is no way to validate the image. It was sent to the source by a GameStop employee, but this would not be the first time that an image of this variety has been falsified. Superficially, it passes the detection test, but so have many other counterfeits in the past.

Below, you can check out the image for yourself, again courtesy of the Pokémon Center:

For now, take everything here with a grain of salt. Not only is nothing official here, but even if the information and image are good, all it reveals is that GameStop recently added two Nintendo Switch games to its database. These Switch games can be for Pokémon, but they could also be for much less exciting titles.

At the time of publication, no party involved – Nintendo or GameStop – commented on the leak in any capacity. If that changes, we’ll be sure to update the story with what is provided.
