A New Mexico businessman is calling Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham for allowing the reopening of gyms, but not his indoor playground.
Urban Air Adventure Park owner Thomas Garcia told Fox & Friends Weekend on Saturday that he discussed with the New Mexico governor about his unfair restrictions on coronavirus as he tries to survive with his business closed.
“I have been talking to the governor’s office for more than six months,” said Garcia. “[The governor] he told me that he believes Urban Air can keep its guests safe, but it cannot open us because we were in this category of close contact recreational facilities. “

Urban Air Adventure Park is an entertainment venue that offers activities such as indoor skydiving, trampoline, zip lines and more.
Garcia said he was confused by Grisham’s contradictory comments and suggested that the New Mexico governor should imitate Florida guidelines for reopening business safely.
The small business owner mentioned that the Urban Air franchise in Florida was allowed to bring in customers after employees inspected the property to ensure it was COVID compliant, with temperature checks and social distance guidelines. Garcia strongly advised Grisham to examine how other states are handling restrictions to mitigate the virus.
“[Urban Air] has 85 really good employees who work for us, but have no job at the moment, “said Garcia.” It’s not just about me. It’s about many other companies that are getting absolutely devastated … “
