Motorola’s edge s looks sharp in the leaked official image

Tipster Ankit posted what appears to be the official teaser for the upcoming Motorola s Edge.

The phone, which is apparently known internally as Motorola Nio, will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. The device was recently located on the benchmarking site AnTuTu and its score are consistent with expectations: ahead of devices equipped with Snapdragon 865, but slightly below the flagships of Snapdragon 888.
Edge s will be launched on January 26 in China and is believed to use the nickname G in international markets.
Today’s image is in line with practical photos that emerged not too long ago and are further confirmation that the back of the phone has a square protrusion for the camera configuration, which apparently consists of a primary sensor of 64 MP, an ultra-wide unit of 16 MP, a 2 MP depth module, and a laser auto focus system.

The poster shows both the white variant previously leaked, which apparently will be marketed as ‘Sky’, and the blue edition which will be known as ‘Beryl’.

According previous reports, Motorola Edge s will have a 6.7-inch Full-HD + screen with a refresh rate of at least 90Hz. The phone will apparently feature dual selfie cameras (16MP and 8MP), which will be housed in a hole. Instead of going for a fingerprint reader on the display, the phone is supposed to adhere to a side-mounted one.

The device is expected to display a 5,000 mAh battery and 20 W fast charge, and will run Android 11 immediately. The rumors also indicate options of 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM and storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB.
