Model Stella Tennant committed suicide, the family says: ‘She felt unable to continue’

British supermodel Stella Tennant died of suicide, her family said.

Tennant was 50 years old when she was found dead by authorities who responded to a call at a property in Duns, Scotland, on December 22.

In a statement shared with Fox News, his family said they had been “humbled by the outpouring of messages and sympathy” since Tennant’s death. They also confirmed that she was not well for “some time”.

“She was a beautiful soul, adored by a close family and good friends, a sensitive and talented woman whose creativity, intelligence and humor touched so many,” said the family in a statement.

“Stella hasn’t been well in a while. So it’s a matter of our deepest sadness and despair that she felt unable to continue despite the love of those closest to her. In mourning the loss of Stella, her family renews a sincere request for respect as your privacy must continue. “

A source close to Tennant’s family told The Daily Telegraph that his relatives think it is important to “raise awareness about mental health, as it is often misunderstood.”

Tennant’s family confirmed his death for the first time on December 23 without providing a cause. They described her as a “wonderful woman and an inspiration to all of us”.

Tennant was a well-known face in the fashion industry, having appeared on several haute couture spreads in magazines such as Italian, British and French Vogue. She was the daughter of the Hon. Tobias William Tennant, who was the son of 2nd Baron Glenconner, and Lady Emma Cavendish, reported the vehicle.

Also a catwalk specialist, the model regularly attended fashion shows around the world wearing designer clothes such as Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Prada.

In 2012, Tennant would have received the honor as Model of the Year and was inducted into the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame. She would have left her husband and four children.
