Miya Ponsettois insisting on his attack on a 14-year-old girl Keyon Harrold Jr. – which she falsely accused of stealing her phone – has nothing to do with race, but people on Keyon’s side disagree … strongly.
Civil Rights Lawyer Ben Crump, Rev. Al Sharptonand the non-profit organization Color of Change will join Keyon’s parents at a news conference Monday morning to address Ponsetto’s recent arrest and charges – known as “SoHo Karen” for the New York hotel incident – and discuss “the widespread issue of the racial profile.”

As we reported … Ponsetto was arrested last week in SoCal, flew back to NYC, where she It was charged with attempted aggression, attempted robbery, theft and endangering the well-being of a child by his altercation with the teenager.
However, Miya was NOT charged with a hate crime, and the prosecutor not even mentioned any racial components to the case in court on Saturday. Keyon Jr.’s parents – Switch on and Kat – we were told earlier that they believe the ordeal reflects racial injustices as a whole.
