Milwaukee Bucks, Jrue Holiday agrees to a four-year extension worth up to $ 160 million

Milwaukee Bucks owner, Jrue Holiday, has agreed to a $ 135 million four-year extension, which includes bonuses that could bring the deal to $ 160 million, said agent Jason Glushon to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal includes a player option for the fourth year in 2024-25, according to Glushon.

Holiday joined the Bucks in a four-team exchange in November, providing shooting and defense for a Milwaukee team built around current MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. In his first season with the Bucks, Holiday averaged 17.0 points and 5.4 assists per game.

The deal came after Holiday scored 33 points, the season record, with 11 assists and seven rebounds during Saturday’s 129-128 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Holiday, 30, spent seven seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans, who acquired him on a night contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013, after his only All-Star season. He has averaged 15.9 points and 6.3 assists per game in his career.
