Miley Cyrus mourns the death of his beloved dog Mary Jane, who died after a yearlong battle with cancer.
The 28-year-old singer accessed her stories on Instagram to share a statement about the loss of her pet, which was a mix of pit bull.
“Anyone knows me and doesn’t need to be well, he knows that my best friend in the whole world is a rescued pit bull called Mary Jane,” she wrote. “MJ was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago…. and since then several types and tumors. I was told it would be a long time before she left. Advised to spend every second savoring your special spirit…. which was nothing new. I was 10 years ago. “

Miley also released a new song called “Mary Jane 5EVR.”
“I wrote this song in Malibu years ago on a piano in a house that no longer exists. About my dog Mary Jane that is also gone now. A lot has changed over time. Mainly me. Music is my medicine. This song revolves around loss and suffering. That I’m currently experiencing after Mary Janeis passing by, ”she said.
Miley continuous, “MJ she was a true queen. She used her grace, dignity and goodness as a crown. It will never be forgotten and will be missed forever. To know her is to love her. It was an honor to be your mother and best friend. “
