‘Nobody’ teaser: Bob Oedenkirk is a suburban father who breaks evil – very bad (video)

“Better Call Saul” star Bob Oedenkirk plays an unassuming suburban father who breaks badly – very badly – in the new thriller “Nobody” – that Universal provoked during the Super Bowl with a 30-second spot. Oedenkirk’s transformation is triggered when two thieves break into his suburban home one night, and he refuses to defend himself or his family, in the hope of preventing serious violence. His teenage son, Blake (Gage Munroe), is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen), seems to be moving further away. Guarding a latent rage, he soon follows a brutal path that will reveal dark secrets and lethal skills as he faces a villain (Alexey Serebryakov, Amazon’s “McMafia”) to counter his “nobody” image. The film is produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Braden Aftergood, Bob Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero. The film is executive produced by Derek Kolstad, Marc S. Fischer and Tobey Maguire.
