“I just want everyone to know that the fight is going on with me and Holyfield,” said Tyson during an IG Live session with Haute Living.
“Holyfield is a humble man, I know that and he is a man of God, but I am a man of God. Listen, I will succeed on May 29th.”
We are contacting Holyfield camp right now to confirm that he is … so stay tuned.
Remember, it was yesterday that Evander’s manager issued a statement saying conversations had “collapsed” between the two sides.
“We were negotiating in good faith all the time and it seems that we ended up wasting our time”, Kris Lawrence said.
The two sides were preparing for a May 29 fight date at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The dispute was reduced to cash – the Holyfield team says that Team Tyson wanted a big share … and even declined a $ 25 million guarantee.
So, how did they solve everything? We are working on it.
Evander and Mike fought for the last time in 1997 … and it ended with Tyson biting a piece of Evander’s ear. Holyfield’s last professional fight was in 2011, when he won a TKO victory over Brian Nielsen.
