Michael Irvin not happy with Tom Brady’s tweet from Tyrann Mathieu

Michael Irvin is not happy with Tyrann Mathieu.

The Hall of Fame wide receiver did not like the Chiefs ‘excluded tweet about Tom Brady after the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl 2021 victory on Sunday. After a heated argument with Brady before the break, Mathieu wrote on Twitter: “He called me something that I won’t repeat, but yes, I’m going to let all the media throw me under the bus as if I did or said something to him ”.

Irvin felt that the tweet welcomed speculation about Brady using racial slander against Mathieu, and on Tuesday Irvin went to The Rich Eisen Show to say that Brady did not use such language.

“I didn’t like that Tyrann Mathieu put it like that, the way he put it, honestly, because I thought – come on, now, it makes people want to know ‘What did he say’, as if he said the word n. And he didn’t. Tom, no, ”said Irvin. “So, I don’t even like that hovering over this situation. So that’s why I think we should clean this up somewhere, somehow. That’s what I’m saying. He didn’t say that. “

ESPN reported on Monday that Brady texted Mathieu after the game to apologize “for losing his composure at the time of the game”.
