NEW YORK (AP) – A bound edition of materials on President Donald Trump’s second impeachment will bring a foreword by a retired associate – former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.
Skyhorse Publishing announced that “The Second Impeachment Report: Materials in Support of H. Res. 24, Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for Crimes and Offenses by the US House Committee on the Judiciary” will be released on February 9 . Publishers do not require permission to release Congress reports as books because they do not have copyrights.
The House accused Trump earlier this week on a single charge, inciting insurrection, about his role in last week’s bloody attack on the US Capitol.
Trump was also impeached a year ago for pressuring the President of Ukraine to investigate President-elect Joe Biden. The Senate voted to acquit him.
Cohen has already written a book about his fight with Trump, the best seller “Disloyal”. In his preface to the new book, he writes: “We should never have to call Donald Trump ‘Mr. President ‘again after January 20, 2021. ”
