According to court documents obtained exclusively by BOSSIP, “Love & Marriage Hunstville” stars Martell and Melody Holt are officially divorced. On March 12, an Alabama judge granted Martell and Melody a divorce for reasons listed as “temperament mismatch” or irreconcilable differences.
According to official documents obtained by BOSSIP, both parties will exercise joint legal and physical custody of their four minor children, determining their own weekly schedule. Neither will pay child support and both will share the expenses. Alimony was not granted to either party and the separated spouses agreed to dissolve a number of businesses in which they have joint interests, including Holt & Holt Custom Homes, LLC.
As BOSSIP previously reported, Melody, filed for divorce from her longtime spouse saying that her marriage suffered an “irretrievable breakdown” and that there was no chance that they would be together again. Melody asked that neither side pay alimony to the other, and both should continue to have joint physical and legal custody of their children.
Later, allegations emerged that Martell had a child out of wedlock with a woman who had been his mistress for several years, whom he previously called a “peasant”. In the current season of “Love & Marriage Huntsville”, Martell confirmed that the rumors were true, but also claimed that Melody was unfaithful because “she stopped doing things to him, so she had be doing this to someone else. ”Melody vehemently denied the allegations.
Melody is currently pouring out her frustrations from her divorce into a song appropriately titled “Tell Tale Signs”. Released tomorrow, March 20, the song features lyrics that include;
“Instead, be alone because you have problems. Stop calling my phone. I do not miss you. Remember when you didn’t care? Keep that energy right there. We don’t even need to speak the truth. Only when you want to see the children. “
