It was all a communication failure.
Joe Gorga and Jonathan Steingraber argued that Gorga owed Steingraber “tens of thousands” of dollars in Wednesday night’s episode of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” – attributing everything to a misunderstanding.
The conflict came to a head – like most – during a pool party at Teresa Giudice’s house, with Gorga asking Steingraber why he told people he owed him money.
Referring to the “Grow with Gorga” event that they organized together, Steingraber said he thought he was being paid for it.
But Gorga quickly clarified that, from now on, they could agree to share the profits from the events – but that no such agreement had been made for the “Grow with Gorga” event.
And although there was no pushing in the pool involved, in the end, the men agreed to disagree.
The fight started when Steingraber’s wife, Michelle Pais, told “RHONJ” star Jennifer Aydin that Joe owed her husband “tens of thousands” of dollars. When Aydin confronted Joe and his wife Melissa about allegations from last week’s episode, the couple vehemently denied it.
Meanwhile, Pais and Melissa also had a heated argument at Teresa’s pool party, with Melissa upset because Pais brought up her husband’s money problems at a separate party.
“When I saw you at the party, you didn’t tell me anything about it,” said Melissa. “I would have come to you and said, ‘Do me a favor. Ask your husband to call mine. ‘”
Pais kept his claim, but apologized for bringing it up to someone on the other side.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” will air on Wednesdays at 9 pm in Bravo.
