Meghan and Prince Harry share a Christmas card with little Archie

On the card, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex focus their attention on a light-haired Archie while the family is surrounded by their two dogs, a miniature house and lush vegetation. A small Christmas tree decorated with a red bow is placed nearby.

“I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” says the card.

The image, which appears to be an illustration, represents the first time he has seen Archie since his first birthday in May.
“The original family photo was taken at her home earlier this month by the Duchess’s mother,” said a family spokesman, according to Page Six. “The small Christmas tree, including homemade ornaments and other decorations, has been selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays.”
Harry and Meghan fiercely protected Archie’s privacy and filed a lawsuit in July over his paparazzi photos. The couple moved away from their roles as members of the royal family in early 2020 and moved to Santa Barbara, California in July.

The Christmas card was launched by Mayhew, a London-based animal welfare charity that sponsors Meghan.

“This year, we, as a family, made donations to various charities thinking of you,” Meghan said on the card. “From a local California organization that helps families transition from homelessness to two of our sponsors in the UK: one that supports animal and community welfare and the other, a memorial fund for a dear friend who helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we honor their work on behalf of all of us. ”

Mayhew CEO Caroline Yates said the organization was delighted to have Markle as its patron.

“We are especially honored to have recently received a personal donation from the Duke and Duchess, which will allow us to help even more cats, dogs and pet owners in need in this difficult winter period,” wrote Yates.
