The most dramatic spa day ever?
Before sending his best friend Matt James to begin his “single” journey, Tyler Cameron made sure he was properly protected.
Prior to James’ second week on the dating show, Cameron posted a video on YouTube documenting the couple’s non-relaxing visit to the spa, with the caption: “We were shaved and destroyed.”
“Today was a day to show Matt what these girls go through when it comes to getting ready to be on ‘The Bachelor’, so Matt can have a real appreciation when these girls get out of the limo,” said the 27-year-old. ex-Bachelorette contestant said.
Cameron, an exercise addict and former soccer player, apparently brought a “painless, no gain” attitude to his waxing session, requesting white strips and gel wax.
“I saw ’40 -Year-Old Virgin ‘and it looked painful, and that’s what I wanted,” he explained.
It is safe to say that Cameron got what he was looking for, as the video was full of screams and clenched teeth.
James apparently couldn’t bear the burn either, even when he answered a phone call from his mother in the middle of the waxing session. “I’ll call you back,” he whispered, after accidentally shouting into the phone.
Perhaps James enjoyed his wax after the fact; the owner of the Nemacolin resort in Pennsylvania, where season 25 was filmed, told Page Six exclusively that “sex and love are in the air” on the property.
But beauty doesn’t always mean pain for James and Cameron, who had facials with friends in another YouTube video last week.
