Marvel’s ‘assembled’ WandaVision trailer shows the Blue Vision scene

Mounted: The Making of WandaVision trailer gives MCU fans a glimpse of Blue Vision and more behind-the-scenes footage and sitcom tributes.

WandaVision may be over, but now Marvel fans can watch a behind-the-scenes feature of the series, Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, with Marvel launching a trailer along with the release of the Disney + documentary that shows Paul Bettany as Vision in makeup blue.

The trailer opens with a look at the “dinner with the Vision chief” sequence of WandaVisionfirst episode, before coming back to reveal his house set and live studio audience. Director Matt Shakman then officially welcomes the audience to “the first live sitcom recording in the history of Marvel Studios”, with actor Paul Bettany jokingly confessing that he has not “been in front of an audience live since 1884 “.

From there, viewers are treated to several pictures of Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Kathryn Hahn and others WandaVision stars performing their scenes from the perspective of the film crew. Brief interview segments reveal Olsen and Bettany’s thoughts on WandaVisionBettany’s structure, with the first stating that when she “heard about the concept for the first time, I thought it was brilliant”, and Bettany calling it “a great tribute to American serials throughout the 20th century”. The trailer also shows you how WandaVision took out its special effects, ranging from deliberately mushy Dick Van Dyke Show/Bewitched Era wires showing Wanda’s magical powers for Vision’s VFX photos battling him and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wearing their space suit.

Almost all WandaVisionThe episodes emulated the look, tone and cinematography of iconic sitcoms chronologically made between the 1950s and the late 2000s, ranging from Bewitched to Family ties and Malcolm in the middle. Over time, however, this idealistic sitcom world is exposed as a by-product of Wanda’s powers mysteriously controlling the city of Westview, New Jersey, allowing her and Vision to have a happy ending and children at the expense of arresting the citizens of Westview in supporting roles in the cast. The program’s penultimate episode also revealed why she chose a sitcom aesthetic, as the genre provided comfort during various traumatic stages of Wanda’s life, from her childhood in Sokov to her first important interaction with Post Vision.Avengers: Age of Ultron.
