‘Dustin has cancer – we don’t know what type or how advanced – we’ll find out tomorrow,’ Dan told The Sun. ‘At the moment we don’t know how bad it is or where it has spread.
“It started out as a tumor on his neck – a huge lump in his throat – and it was very visible. “He was afraid that someone would take pictures and post online. ‘

Terrifying: Diamond, 44, went into treatment after complaining that his whole body was in pain and his medical team fears he may have cancer, sources added to TMZ; portrayed in 2006
Diamond was hospitalized in Florida over the weekend, an actor’s representative confirmed to DailyMail.com.
Diamond went into treatment after complaining that his whole body was hurting and his medical team fears he might have cancer, sources told TMZ.
The actor lost his mother to breast cancer and would have done a biopsy to deduce in what medical condition.
Diamond originated the role of Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers in Good Morning, Miss Bliss, the 1988 Disney Channel comedy that became Saved By The Bell.
He continued to play Screech in the initial series of Saved By The Bell on NBC from 1989 to 1993 and kept the character in multiple revivals.
The California-born actor was part of the 1992 TV movie Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style and the 1993 sequential series Saved By The Bell: The College Years.
Then came the spin-off Saved By The Bell: The New Class, which ran from 1994 to 2000 and also included Dustin in its cast.
However, Peacock’s reboot of the franchise last year did not include Dustin, although other former castmates like Mario Lopez have returned to the show.
For the past two decades, Diamond has had its fair share of controversy, including his 2006 sex tape Screeched: Saved By The Smell, which he directed himself.
During a Where are they now? especially at OWN seven years later, he said he superimposed his face on the body of a stuntman for the tape.
– You know, I definitely made some money from it, but it wasn’t worth what happened. I mean, people still despise me today, ”he said.

He also said that his 2009 memories, Behind The Bell, were a ‘disappointment to me’ because of descriptions of alleged drugs and sex during the production of the show.
Diamond said the book was written by a ghost and said, ‘I talked to a guy a few times, so the book has a little bit of truth to it, and a lot of the stories were kind of throwaway.’
He declared, ‘Like, you know,’ Oh, well, the kids were smoking weed and, you know, having sex behind the scenes. ‘It came from another disposable statement of,’ So, was someone using drugs or sleeping together on set? ‘ ‘Well, what do you think? There were a lot of kids with hormones, you know, 15, 16 years old. ”
Diamond stated, ‘It turned out, you know, into small talk about everyone that it really was, I have nothing but good thoughts and memories from everyone. I expected a copy to be sent for review and ok, or a thumbs up or thumbs down, and the copy was sent: ‘Oh, this is done.’ ‘

Remember when: He was also part of the 1992 TV movie Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style, in which he is portrayed with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (left) and Mario Lopez (right)
Then, in 2015, he spent three months in prison because of his role in a bar fight in Wisconsin, in which one of the participants was reportedly stabbed.
He was acquitted of the crime of reckless risk to public security, but was convicted of two crimes, disorderly conduct and possession of a concealed weapon.
He apparently remained friends with his co-star Mario Lopez, who hosted him at Extra in 2016, where he discussed his time in prison.
Diamond’s friend Dan Block told The Sun last year that the actor was unaware of Peacock’s Saved By The Bell revival until the news was made public.
‘I know he wants to be a part of this,’ said Block, insisting that his friend is ‘a good guy and deserves a second chance.’
