I did not play Mario Kart Tour yet, but Nintendo finally added a feature that absolutely convinced me to play. You can now race a hot dog kart. You can see the hot dog kart – which Lederhosen Luigi is obediently riding – in the image above. Naturally, Luigi is also holding a toasted sausage while driving his new kart. This is not the sausage thing you’ve seen all day? Two hands on the wheel, buddy!
The “Fast Frank” kart (as well as Luigi’s new fit) is part of the Mario Kart TourNew location: Berlin. See, now it all makes sense. The Berlin Tour in Mario Kart Tour is available now until January 26th.

In addition to the German-inspired items, players can also run on the “Butterfly Wings” glider and, in the second week, run as Penguin Luigi, Builder Luigi or the regular old Luigi. There are also new vehicle items: the Sushi Racer kart and the Blooper Wingtip glider. But those other fantasies and go-karts mean nothing to me – I’m ready for hot dogs, all the time.
Mario Kart Tour was released in September 2019 for Android and iOS devices. Real-time multiplayer was officially added to the mobile kart racing game in March 2020. An update in July added landscape mode – now players are not forced to play in portrait mode.
Can you think of anything better than winning a race like Penguin Luigi riding a hot dog kart? I can not.
