Marilyn Manson was dropped by the label after allegations of abuse

Follow Evan Rachel WoodInstagram post accusing Marilyn Manson, aka Brian Warner, of abusing her “terribly” for years, beginning when she was a teenager, Loma Vista Recordings abandoned the artist.

“In light of the disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their aggressor, Loma Vista will no longer promote her current album, with immediate effect,” the label said in a statement. “Due to these worrying developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

The band’s artist page was deleted from the Loma Vista website today, after Wood’s Tweet. A reporter from Advertising panel was able to put a cassette tape in his shopping cart this afternoon, Eastern Time, but when he checked out, the item was gone and Marilyn Manson was removed from the label’s website.
