Marilyn Manson reportedly fell for a longtime manager after allegations of abuse

Marilyn Manson and his 25-year-old manager Tony Ciulla are said to have split up after allegations of abuse against the musician by several women.

Ciulla started to represent Manson – real name Brian Warner – in 1996. He joined the label Loma Vista and agent CAA to sever ties with the shock rocker.

In his time working together, Ciulla supported Manson in a number of controversies, including several lawsuits, as well as allegations that Manson’s music sparked the Columbine High School massacre in 1999.

Yet, Rolling Stone reports that Ciulla, who also manages Rob Zombie, First Aid Kit and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, will discontinue the pair’s professional relationship.

NME contacted Tony Ciulla for comment.

Ciulla’s decision to split from Manson comes after the musician was accused of grooming, manipulation and abuse by her ex-fiancé, Evan Rachel Wood, earlier this month.

Wood had previously spoken about his abuse, but had not named Manson as the perpetrator until posting on Instagram on February 1.

“My attacker’s name is Brian Warner,” she wrote.

“I am here to expose this dangerous man and summon the many industries that have enabled him, before he destroys more lives.”

Since Wood made his statement, several other women have shared similar stories. Photographer Ashley Walters, model Sarah McNeilly and actor Ashley Lindsay Morgan are among those who accused Manson of abuse.

Manson denied the recent allegations of abuse, calling them “horrible distortions of reality”.

Manson’s former collaborators, Trent Reznor and Wes Borland, denounced the shock rocker after the allegations. The musician was also pulled from his upcoming appearances on television shows American gods and Freak show.
