Marilyn Manson released by businessman Tony Ciulla

Marilyn Manson was abandoned by his longtime manager, Tony Ciulla, while the consequences of the abuse allegations made by the singer’s ex-fiancee, actress Evan Rachel Wood, continue.

According to Rolling Stone, a source “close to the situation” confirmed Ciulla’s departure. The couple’s relationship dates back to 1996 and the discovery of Manson with his album “Antichrist Superstar”.

Ciulla led Manson, 52, through several career challenges, including lawsuits from former band members about royalties and alleged assaults on members of the security team at concert venues.

The fall of Wood, 33, accusing Manson of torturing and humiliating her during their relationship on Monday, was rapid. Before long, he was released from his label, Loma Vista, and several figures from his past – including ex-girlfriends Rose McGowan and Jenna Jameson – added their voices to Wood’s in solidarity.

A former Manson collaborator, Nine Inch Nails mentor Trent Reznor said in a statement, “I have been talking over the years about my dislike for Manson as a person and I severed ties with him for almost 25 years.”

Manson has also been dropped by his agency, CAA, and Starz’s “American Gods” is editing his episodes, while Shudder’s “Creepshow” is eliminating episodes with him, for Variety.

Manson denied Wood’s accusations. His ex-wife, burlesque star Dita Von Teese, posted a semi-defense of Manson on Instagram, noting that infidelity and drug abuse led to the end of their marriage, not physical abuse.
