Before being discarded, the musician’s artist page was deleted from the Loma Vista Records website.

Marilyn Manson was officially removed from his label after facing abuse complaints from Evan Rachel Wood and four other women.

In a statement sent to The Hollywood Reporter, Loma Vista Recordings said he will no longer promote Manson’s recent album or work with him on future projects.

“In light of the disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as her attacker, Loma Vista will no longer promote her current album, with immediate effect. Due to these worrying developments, we also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects. “said the record company.

Before the announcement, Manson’s artist page was deleted from the Loma Vista website, Advertising panel reported early Monday.

The record company’s decision comes after Wood shared an Instagram post on Monday when she accused Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, of abusing her “terribly” for years and said he started “treating her” when she was a teenager. The actress met Manson when she was 18 and he was 36. They were engaged briefly in 2010.

“I am here to expose this dangerous man and summon the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins more lives. I have the many victims who will not remain silent, ”she wrote. She also emphasized that “she just lived in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail”.

In response to Wood’s posting on social media, four other women also filed similar allegations of abuse against Manson. Wood shared these accounts in his Instagram stories.

Manson’s first release through the Concord Loma Vista label was The pale emperor in 2015. Manson’s previous album, We are chaos, was released on September 11, 2020 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the top rock album chart.

The allegations are not the first that Manson faced. In May 2018, the musician had a police report filed against him for unspecified sexual crimes dating from 2011. Manson’s lawyer, Howard E. King, Esq., Denied the claims in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter at the time, saying, in part: “The allegations made to the police were and are categorically denied by Mr. Warner and are either completely delusional or part of a calculated attempt to generate publicity … Any allegation of sexual impropriety or imprisonment in this, or any other, the time is false. “

The Hollywood Reporter sought out a representative from Manson.
