COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police say an armed man is fleeing after a shooting at a shopping center in broad daylight on Saturday afternoon.
It happened at a pet supply store near King Soopers in Austin Bluffs and Academy. Police said they received a call about two men fighting there shortly after 1 pm.
Detectives say one man shot the other and then ran out before the police arrived. They say the victim was taken to the hospital, but he appears to have only minor injuries.
The CSPD is investigating what led to the shooting. They say it is possible that it started with an incident of anger on the road.
At the moment, detectives have no description of the suspect to share with the public.
