Los Angeles police say the ‘Hollyboob’ vandalism against the Hollywood sign was ‘not cool’

With some tarps hanging creatively, vandals in California on Monday tried to make the famous Hollywood sign in Los Angeles the word “Hollyboob”.

Los Angeles police captain Steve Lurie confirmed the incident in a tweet on Monday night.

Six people were arrested for the feat, which was intended to raise awareness of breast cancer, a LAPD captain told NBC Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesmen did not immediately respond to requests for comment from NBC News.

According to NBC Los Angeles, the feat resulted in an LAPD helicopter flying overhead to locate the suspects, who received quotes and were later released.
