Lizzo is doing a reality show full of tweets for Amazon.
The project is a series of competition in search of models and full-body dancers. The goal is to find people talented enough to follow the Grammy winner three times on stage as part of their next team.
Here is the official description of the untitled series: “A new improvised series following the global superstar Lizzo as she continues to search for dynamic and full women to join her world and perform with her on stage. Only the most talented dancers and the models will have whatever it takes to tinker with it during the tour and put it on the catwalk. “
Lizzo also announced the series on Instagram. “Where are all the big girls?” she asked. “This is what I want to know!”
In an accompanying cast call, the project says it is looking for people “who have been under-represented and underestimated for a long time”, and adds: “This is your chance to improve on world stage and step on the track for the adventure of a whole life. Come as you are and make sure you bring good energy – and that ass. Do you have the juice? Apply now. “
The show is the first project announced in the singer’s first general contract for “Truth Hurts” with Amazon Studios, announced in August. Lizzo will also be the executive producer on the series.
