With only a handful of votes against the motion of censure, which passed 59-7, Wyoming Republicans urged Cheney to resign “immediately” and pledged to retain “future political funding” from her.
The censorship appealed to Cheney to appear before the state Republican Party for acting “in contradiction to the quantifiable will of the majority of the Wyoming electorate”.
