Live updates: leaked Dorsey recording suggests that policy enforcement actions on Twitter go beyond Trump’s ban

A leaked recording from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey suggests that the company’s policy enforcement actions go far beyond banning President Trump.

Right-wing guerrilla media Project Veritas released a clip on Thursday given to them by an alleged Twitter “internal whistleblower” who secretly recorded Dorsey’s comments to the team.

“You should always feel free to express yourself in any form of demonstration that feels right,” said Dorsey in the clip.

QUICK FACTS

    • Dorsey recently defended Twitter’s decision to permanently suspend President Trump’s account, saying it was the “right decision”.
    • Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe said on Thursday that more Twitter leaks could occur

“We know that we are focused on an account now, but it will be much bigger than just one account and it will last much longer than just this day, this week and the next few weeks, and it goes beyond the inauguration,” continued Dorsey.
