Lenovo made a Demon Slayer-themed gaming chair with a built-in fake sword

Lenovo is not a big company in the gaming chair scene, but Demon slayer– thematic creation shows that it could easily destroy the competition if it wanted to. Per Kotaku, the company made a limited edition chair with a katana in the holster built into the side. But before you imagine yourself spinning around in the chair with a sword drawn, unfortunately there is no katana in the holster. It is misleading advertising to make a Demon slayer chair with which you can’t really kill demons?

Doubly sad is that you cannot buy the chair. Only five are being made for a sweepstakes promotion in Japan. Hey, if you live in Japan, follow Lenovo’s Twitter account from Japan, retweet a tweet and try to win this seat on behalf of all of us.

All the necessary parts are here, except the katana itself.

Lenovo says this is a customized version of an existing model, but it still looks cool. Its coloring matches Giyu Tomioka’s wardrobe Demon slayer series, and maybe that really could have been a success here since Demon slayer is coming to the USA after a big box office release in Japan. But unfortunately, I’m stuck here on a Friday, gaping at a chair that I can’t have, thinking about how it will inspire so many people to try to assemble katanas in your gaming chairs. Be careful!
