Despite the possibility that the Los Angeles Lakers will be without Anthony Davis for a long time, LeBron James is embracing the philosophy that blocking is a good challenge for him and his teammates.

Davis left the Lakers game on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets with an injury that left some wondering if he had torn the Achilles tendon. After an MRI, a calf strain was revealed, although it will be reevaluated in two or three weeks.
James’ fearless approach reflects the attitude he had while he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers, when players like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and JR Smith also missed long periods of a season.
Although the Lakers lost on Sunday, they still hold a record 21-7 this season, the second best of all Western Conference teams and 1.5 games behind Utah Jazz.
While James embraces the challenge ahead, the Lakers need to find players who can fill the gaps left by Davis’ absence. In 23 games this season, the veteran star has an average of 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals per game.
