Samsung launched a new mid-range line Galaxy A series phones earlier this week, but now a leaked new script may have just revealed what the South Korean tech giant has planned for the rest of spring and summer.

Assuming that the script, which appeared in a leaked chart posted by Evan Blass on his voice page, it is legitimate, we can see that Samsung has a handful of upcoming events and product launches spread over the next two quarters. Looking beyond the generic launch event on March 26 (which will likely include US-specific information for the new Galaxy A52 and A72), we can see a new PC launch event scheduled for mid-April, the new Tab S7 Lite scheduled for June, a new budget 5G phone in July and a Galaxy FE Unpacked event in August.

For me, the two most notable dates in this itinerary are the PC event in April, in which we were able to see a new Galaxy Book Pro and a convertible Galaxy Book Pro 360 with integrated S Pen support and possibly a 5G compatible version of Galaxy Chromebook 2, and the Galaxy FE event in August.

Here is Samsung's alleged product roadmap for spring and summer 2021.

Samsung has been relatively straightforward about investing more resources in its computing division, so after two Unpacked events for the S21 and programming the Galaxy A series earlier this year with a PC-based Unpacked event makes a lot of sense.

When looking at the event scheduled for late summer, the most important lesson is that mid-August is usually when Samsung announces a new Galaxy Note device. However, with the leaked script specifically indicating that the event will be for a new Fan Edition device (probably the S21 FE), it has recently been said that Samsung may not make a new Galaxy Note for 2021 it seems even more likely.

However, Samsung co-CEO Koh Dong-Jim mentioned during a recent shareholder meeting that Samsung could always postpone the next Galaxy Note launch day, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung ended up holding some special devices (like a new Galaxy Fold or possibly a Galaxy Note) for later in the fall.

Spread among the events listed in the script, Blass said that Samsung will also launch the Galaxy A82 sometime this summer, which is supposed to have 5G and will come with some kind of “dual-use” camera module.

Despite the continuing chip crisis plaguing the technology industry, it appears that Samsung still has a series of launches planned for 2021 – except for May, when the company does not appear to have anything important on the calendar. And while this leaked script only mentions phones, tablets and PCs, there are likely to be some other unexpected gadgets that will make an appearance before the end of the year as well.
