On Friday night, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the safe return of Gaga’s two puppies, Koji and Gustav, who were stolen by suspects who approached their dog walker, shot him once and ran away with the dogs. canines.

“I want them to be arrested so that they can be tried for assault and / or attempted murder,” Joe Germanotta told us Saturday morning.

The dog walker – whom Gaga named in a tweet as Ryan Fischer, but which the LAPD has not yet publicly identified – was transported to a local hospital after the incident. He was already listed in a stable condition after the shooting and his injuries are being described as not potentially fatal.

Gaga’s father said he was confident that the LAPD would locate the two suspects, who were described by police on Thursday as two black men aged 20 to 25.

Hours before the dogs returned, Germanotta told Fox News that her superstar daughter was in communication with her dog walker during her hospitalization. Germanotta said his safety was the family’s first priority and then begged for Koji and Gustav to be returned safely.

“Please don’t hurt these animals. They don’t hurt anyone, just let them go. There’s no reason to keep them. They have no value. The visibility they have now would make you crazy to buy them,” continued Germanotta . “Let them go. Give us back so we can bring them back to the family.”

The singer herself also spoke on social media on Friday, the day after offering a $ 500,000 reward for returning her precious canines.

“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken to Hollywood two nights ago,” she wrote next to four pictures of the dogs. “My heart is sick and I am praying that my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.”

LAPD officials said Koji and Gustav were returned to the department’s Olympic Station Theft Homicide detectives at around 6pm on Friday.
