Kirk Cameron Launches Protest for Unmasked Songs Outside California Mall

Former child actor Kirk Cameron organized an almost unmasked holiday meeting in a parking lot outside a mall in Thousand Oaks, California, on Tuesday night to protest the blockade imposed by the governor. Dozens of Christmas carols were visible in videos that Cameron posted online, singing “The First Claus” and together. “We will be celebrating our God-given freedoms, our constitutionally protected rights at this Christmas time to sing Christmas carols, get together, get together and sing about the birth of our savior,” Cameron told the group. It was at least the second protest of the Growing Pains actor has organized against restrictions in a state that is crippling under the weight of COVID. The ICU beds are full or close to capacity in various parts of the state.

The mall made it clear that it did not participate in the protest against the blockade. “Regarding the peaceful protest planned for The Oaks tonight, we do not tolerate this irresponsible event – although it is constitutionally protected. We share your concern and notify the sheriff’s office, ”wrote the mall on Facebook.
