Kirk Cameron he took his anti-Christmas mask singing on the road again, but this time he found protesters who were enraged by the display of COVID precautions.
The “Growing Pains” star got about 100 people to get off at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks – just outside LA – and there was no social distance and almost no mask in sight.
Some people who saw the exhibition expressed their displeasure in their cars and on foot, some confronting the singers. It seemed tense when the singers faced at least one protester.
Kirk takes the megaphone and tells the crowd, “We live in a free land, regardless of what they are trying to do. The freedom we have from Christ that no one can take away.”
The message is a little complicated. We know that Cameron has been complaining about the Governor Gavin NewsomCOVID closures – something that has caused a lot of concern in determining why certain deals were closed while others remained open.
But as for masks and social detachment … well, if Kirk thinks this is an attack on democracy, he has to go deeper into history because there are countless restrictions on “freedom” for health and safety reasons.

There was a booth where music singers distributed “mask exemption badges”. It’s theater, but given the explosion of COVID cases and deaths, it’s not funny.
The people who run The Oaks said that … “We continue to share our community’s concerns about these irresponsible events – although constitutionally protected – and we apply the law on properties. We contacted the organizer to ask that the event be transferred”
In case you didn’t know … SoCal is recovering from the virus. The ICU beds are full of patients and it only gets worse.
