The way Killer Mike sees it … the popularity of ganja in America was largely built on the backs of black people, so he says they deserve at least 25% of the industry – profits, licenses, business, etc.
While legalization and decriminalization continue to gain momentum at the state level, one criticism is the lack of access by minorities to make money from a substance that has put so many behind bars. Mike uses the ban to explain why we are making the same mistake twice here.
